Works on my 17 year old daughter
My 17 year old daughter has used this for a couple of weeks now and the breakouts on her face have cleared up. She is also using the "Neutrogena Acne Stress Control, Power Foam Wash." She had tried many different products including some very expensive acne kits sold on TV and they did not work.
Really works!
This product does everything it claims. It clears up acne gently and moisturizes your skin at the same time. It also moisturizes enough so you don't have to use another moisturizer afterwards.I used to use Proactiv and I have really oily skin that dries out easily if I use too harsh of products. I find I have to have a delicate balance of acne clearing ingredients and moisturizers otherwise I have either really oily or really dry skin. Before using this product along with the Power Foam Wash has made my skin clearer, smoother and softer then I ever saw it while using Proactiv or any of the other systems I have tried. I love the tingling sensation I get after using this and how light it is on my skin. I went from having a bunch of zits on my forehead to very small if any zits on my forehead. And if I do breakout, they are much smaller and go away much quicker then ever before.I fully recommend the Foaming Power Wash and the 3 in 1 hydrating acne...
Gentle, but effective
My skin isn't completely covered in pimples, but I am always breaking out, including those deep, painful ones. I got super diligent about my skincare a few months ago because I was tired of being in my mid-twenties with the skin of a teenager. I tried Proactiv, but I was left with skin that was red, flaky, irritated, and STILL breaking out. Not exactly a great combination. When I first tried this product, I have to admit that I was skeptical because everything else on the market seems to operate under the assumption that it has to be harsh to work. Thankfully Neutrogena made an effective acne product that doesn't leave me red and flaky, even after a few months of use.Morning: Neutrogena Acne Stress Power Foam Wash and this product. (Also, I use Neutrogena skin soothers stick concealer and L'oreal Bare Minerales foundation for my make-up.)Night: Clean and Clear Blackhead Clearing Scrub every other day (the Neutrogena scrub that's supposed to go with...

In fight against acne, oil is the major villain
In fight against acne, oil is the major villain Q: I have a gorgeous 19-year-old daughter who has acne. We hear it is due to heredity and hormones. Tetracycline doesn't work. We hear birth-control pills are good. Any suggestions? P. acnes. Heredity has an influence on most medical conditions.

Teen acne-concealer guru is viral video sensation

Firstly, I will commend her on her courage to post pictures of herself without makeup. Cruel comments can hurt worse then anything. But quite honestly this article confused me, especially when I was listening to it on T.V. this morning. She is made fun of mercilessly, so she wears makeup, something a lot of girls do. She posts videos on the internet about how to apply makeup, she isn't the first. Thirdly she is apparently a very kind person, and I will believe that but I don't see how this comes in to the equation especially when the news anchor say " Beauty isn't only skin deep", then why is she getting all this hype for wearing make up. I'm not trying to put down this girl, I'm quite sure she's a wonderful person and she is great at applying make up, and has more acne then average ( which doesn't make her ugly at all) but I don't see the benefit in the publicity. You've basically told all the young girls who watch this that applying make up to avoid being teased is a good thing, and that finding friends who will stand up for you and ignoring those who would put you down isn't what you should do. I haven't worn make up except for once at my sisters wedding, and I have bad acne, not nearly as much as hers, but its been a very long time since my face has had less then several break outs at once. I wish society would be able to tell girls that physical beauty isn't everything, because if when their young they learn to accept other people no matter how they look, they wouldn't tease others or in some cases feel the need to make them selves someone their not.

About this book
All of us probably remember being told, 'Don't worry, you'll grow out of it, ' when we had bouts of acne as teenagers. The truth is, though, that not everybody grows out of acne. In fact, acne can even begin in adulthood and, among women, even after menopause as estrogen levels decline. In addition to physical symptoms, acne sufferers often present psychological symptoms related to the condition like depression, stress, and low self-esteem. These psychological aspects of acne are often downplayed, and the condition is considered 'merely cosmetic' and not a true disease. In the worst cases, acne sufferers have been blamed for their acne much like obese people are blamed for their weight, with the disorder being indicative of a lack of self-control, bad hygiene, or an unhealthy diet. But recent research suggests that diet is not a main cause of acne, and that acne is usually caused by the skin's sebaceous glands being pathologically sensitive to certain hormones. Acne can also be a secondary...

changing eating habits and eliminating toxins..
The cream and exfoliator are most likely filled with toxins. Try rubbing Coconut oil, honey, tree tea oil, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, or peroxide on it, one of them might help.
